The sirocco winds originate in the Sahara. As these strong and arid winds cross the mediterranean sea, they pick up moisture and become humid as they cross into the southern parts of Europe. The feeling of these warm winds and the whipping of the seas inspired this painting that I created using oils on canvas. Sirocco is available to purchase in a variety of print formats.
